Shown in accurate detail, this pelvis model can be manipulated to demonstrate how the pelvis moves to accommodate delivery. Flexible anatomy allows exaggerated movements for presenting to a group. Three separate bone segments are joined together with flexible cord, helping viewers visualize how the pelvic bones flex during birth. The sacrum and coccyx, combined as one bone segment, can be tilted forward and backward to reflect the change that may occur during fetal descent.
The model allows delivery of the Fetal Model, which is sold separately. Pelvis model measures 10½" x 7" x 7½".
