Palpable TB Testing Arm Set | Healthcare Training Model

Learning to identify TB reactions is easy with these two TB testing arms. Made of flexible, palpable material, the models (3" x 6½" x 1") are suitable for educating patients and students about the results of the Mantoux PPD skin test. Set includes one beige and one brown model. Comes with instruction card.

Made of soft, palpable material for greater realism, students can use these models to practice feeling for and measuring skin indurations to determine whether a patient is infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Beige and brown models feature variations in skin color typically occurring around test sites. Each model depicts indurations of 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, and no reaction. Accompanying instruction card explains that readings should be based on measurements of induration, not erythema. Each model is 3" x 6½" x 1".
